CUPE Local 1602 represents a wide cross-section of public health professionals who work for the Haliburton, Kawartha, Pine Ridge District Health Unit. Our membership includes: Public Health Inspectors, Family Home Visitors, Health Promoters, Tobacco Control Officers, Registered Dental Hygienists, Certified Dental Assistants, Registered Dietitians and Nutritionists, Communications and Multimedia staff, Administrative Assistants and Graphic Designers. As Local 1602 members we take great pride in the work we do with, and for the communities we serve helping to promote health, prevent illness and protect against disease.
